Elysium 8/10 Really enjoyed this. South African director, Neil Blomkamp follows up District 9 with this sic fi yarn revolving around the Haves and Have Nots.

Godzilla (2014). 9/10
I'm glad it was made like the original Japanese ones but with a lot better special effects and not a man in a rubber lizard suit smashing up cardboard buildings.

Raising Hell Since 1980.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past
Fantastic addition to the x-men franchise and for me the best x-men film in the franchise so far. Special effects and action are amazing right from the start and both casts (original trilogy and the first class cast) combine together brilliantly with the best performers being Hugh Jackman (wolverine), Jennifer Lawrence (mystique), James McAvoy (young professor x) and Michael Fassbender (young magneto). Loved as well all the new mutants that made their x-men film debuts, especially quicksilver

Don't go when the credits start as there is a fantastic post credits scene afterwards that sets up x-men apocalypse which comes out in may 2016

Battle Of The Damned

This has got to be one of the "Worst" films I've ever had the misfortune of watching!!!!
The only saving grace was, it seemed Dolph Lundgren also suffered....he looked like a man with size 14 feet wearing a size 2 shoes (f#$kiing hilarious watching him runWink )
Oh....if you suffer with sea/motion sickness, avoid this movie like the plague, some of the camera work is like CSI on crackBig Grin

2/10 That's me being generous (I did watch it after allWink )

X Men Origins: Wolverine, not a perfect movie but decent to watch partly because Hugh Jackson is great as Wolverine, but the fuck up with Deadpool. 6.9/10

Blood and Chrome (extended version) 8/10. Enjoyable movie spin off based on the early years of Battlestar Galactica commander, Bill Adama. Plenty of good action scenes. Originally available in episodic form on YouTube. The full movie can now be bought from HMV on blu ray for £7.

The Amazing Spiderman 2. 8/10
I'd rate it higher but I'm getting fed up with all the cameos by Stan Lee. The guy is a legend but doing a cameo in every film from Marvel is just getting annoying now in my opinion but also I'm getting fed up with all the mushy crap that they are putting in films now.
It's still a good film though.

Raising Hell Since 1980.
