It is now my understanding that there are only 8 teams competing in this year's IPL. This is a reduction of 2 teams from previous seasons.

Someone has been posting full match coverage (not live) of all the IPL games up onto YouTube. I watch some of the recent games and noticed just how hot and humid it currently is in India. Temperatures in excess of 40C.

How did the Bangalore fast bowler miss a run out today.
He had time to walk up to the stumps and remove the bails. but chose to throw the ball at the stumps but missed from a yard away..

With all the allegations flying around about spot-fixing, we can only hope (and pray) that this incident was just a simply error.
