Studio 66 - Can it get any worse?

Keeping the football analogy going, I thought S66 scored a spectacular own goal last night. Here's the recipe:
- On the night England are playing in the World Cup, book 2 US "pornstars" - that'll get the punters slavering and tear them away from the footie.
- Piss of your most popular and professional homegrown girl (Clare) by shoving her around to make way for or occasionally do a pointless 2-4-1 with one of said pornstars. She was unable to get going at all, and I believe if she wan't thinking of leaving S66 before, as some have suggested, I bet she is now
- Have your "direct from USA" pornstar appearing on a slightly fuzzy screen and keep both of them more or less fully dressed.
- as your concession to the football, have a small string of tacky England flags that the US pornstar can wave around from time to time. RLC did at least go to the effort of having a football set, however tacky you might think these are.
Maybe S66 were thinking that the local girls might not turn out on a match night, but isn't that just another example of their general high-handed and untrusting attitude to their regular girls? No wonder quite a few seem to be leaving.

Well after so much waving of phones they need something else to wave .

A boy eagerly anticipating a great present on his birthday wakes up to find his bedroom covered 3 feet deep in manure. Amazingly, instead of collapsing in floods of tears, he dives head first into the piles of steaming ordure. His watching parents ask why he did that. I only started watching Elite/S66 when BangBabes closed down, so basically caught the end of the "Danica era", when it was a very good station.

I agree the station has declined - possibly because of fear of OFCOM, but also lack of investment (in sets) and what appears to be a management that has forgotten its prime raison d'etre.

In the last couple of years they have tried some really pretty night girls - Harriette, Jenny Czech, Myla, Skye, Mollie to name just a few who appeared for a few appearances only. They have also lost quite a few "names" to other channels - some not to my taste, but still shouldn't have lost them.

They seem to do better with day girls, but even so manage to lose some to other stations - Felicity being a prime example, who, after a couple of appearances on S66, has gone from strength to strength on Babestation.

Generally the other stations don't hold too much interest for me - Storm and RLC have too much silicone and Tats on display so the girls generally don't appeal to me (possible exceptions being Ani and, ex S66 girl, Sammie Tye) , and Babestation has terrible picture quality. The other channels are generally just "meh", with the odd pretty girl

Currently S66 (night shows) has only Adele and Sophia Knight as the last non-tattooed girls who I would bother to watch, and possibly contact. I wonder how long they will last?

I just want them to go back to basics and restore some of the wow factor they once had.
Quit with all the shoddy bullshit and just give us lots of fit birds getting filthy with a half decent image quality like they used too!
Is it really that difficult?

This in a nutshell just about describes what everyone wants from the channel.

Please S66 just do this. Will it help if we beg.

In the words of Carly Simon regarding your channel in the past ;
"Nobody does it better".

The current state of the channel in the words of Beavis and Butthead;
"This sucks more than anything has sucked before"

Rammy: Let me put it like this.

We are not anti S66.
We are anti what it has become.

We do not want S66 to fail or close.
We want it to restore itself to former glories.

We are not slating S66 just for the fun of it.
We are highlighting its failings and wanting them to be addressed.

This is not a vendetta.
It is a plea to the channel not to destroy itself through incompetent management and strategy.
A plea to say please please think again.

Here's how I see it.

Ditch the USA idea, rebrand yourself and move to brand new studios.
Contact all your previous legendary performers and ask if they would like to come back.
Keep your current UK talent.
Get new cameramen and bring in new ideas.
Create about 7 new sets and ditch the old ones.
Set ideas? - Motorized Hot-tub, A Large Bath, A Beach Set, A Sauna (with real steam and towels), An Office, A Cosy White Duvet & Bed Set For When The Babes Do Nude So They Can Play With The Covers, and a Cop set where the babe pretends to put herself behind bars or waves her truncheon in a suggestive manner.
Let the babes do what they want, rather than what YOU want, providing of course you are ready to roll the card when she is just about to breach Ofcom.

Snookered I know you and the vast majority of the forum want s66 to restore itself to it's former glories by highlighting it's failures and wanting these failures addressed. was just saying there is a small minority of forum members (the anti s66 brigade) who are hell bent on wanting s66 out of business and don't like anyone being positive about s66
