How was he tatically poor played all the players in there natural positions who played well only to be beaten by 2 world class strikers in Ballotelli and Suarez both of which who have played or play for our top 4 clubs so know how our systems work and how to exploit them

I agree rooney is poor but the blame comes down to hodgeson for playing him out of position and playing him in poor form..

His interview after the game sums him up.. Gerrard is too old and hodgeson should know he's played a full season and can't play a full world cup in that role on his own..

Baines did not have a clue what to do on that left side England need to find themselves a left winger soon and use Shaw often as left back in the future. Lambert should have been given the nod tonight along with milner and press them hard

We seemed to have way too many Liverpool players for a start.
