ROH (Ring Of Honor)

felt like there should be a new thread for ROH, they just had their first PPV (instead of ippv) Best In The World last night (22nd June) after going for over 10 years, I watched BITW and thought it was great, they are growing and I think it's well deserved

and for those who don't know, many current WWE and TNA stars were at ROH first, like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, The Wolves just to name a few

so anyway, get talking about ROH

ROH is just TOO fast-paced for me. The endless high-spots and never selling of anything just does my head in. They have some very good talent, but very little charisma. I hope they succeed though- the 'biz' needs 'em.

ROH will return to Fight Network UK on May 6th(Wednesday) at 11pm

the results for death before dishonor PPV,

i though it a good PPV can start to see who they are building the new roh around, and did show just how many wrestlers Tony has signed to roh

COLT CABANA DEF. ANTHONY HENRY W/ JD DRAKE = 5/10 ok opener nothing special

THE TRUST BUSTERS (ARI DAIVARI & SLIM J) DEF. THE SHINOBI SHADOW SQUAD (CHEESEBURGER & ELI ISOM) = 4/10 not a great match just there to show off the trust busters

THE EMBASSY (BRIAN CAGE & THE GATES OF AGONY (KAUN & TOA LIONA)) W/ PRINCE NANA DEF. ALEX ZAYNE, BLAKE CHRISTIAN, & TONY DEPPEN = 6/10 a solid match showed off the Prince Nana bought Tully Blanchard Enterprises and the Kaun is a star will will see in aew

WILLOW NIGHTINGALE DEF. ALLYSIN KAY = 3/10 crap match

ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI DEF. JONATHAN GRESHAM © W/ PRINCE NANA = 7/10 found the match slow but the right result

ROH WORLD SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: DALTON CASTLE & THE BOYS (BRANDON TATE AND BRENT TATE) DEF. THE RIGHTEOUS (VINCENT, BATEMAN, & DUTCH) © W/ VITA VONSTARR = 6/10 took ages for the crowd to get into it that killed the first half of the match

ROH PURE CHAMPIONSHIP: WHEELER YUTA © DEF. DANIEL GARCIA = 8/10 match of the night at this point, to of the best young wrestlers going

RUSH W/ JOSE THE ASSISTANT DEF. DRAGON LEE = 8/10 excellent match these 2 work so well together

ROH WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: MERCEDES MARTINEZ © DEF. SERENA DEEB = 7/10 not as good as i expected, Mercedes has lost a step or two from a few years ago and Deed style is a bit slow for a long match which this was

ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP: SAMOA JOE © DEF. JAY LETHAL = 7.5/10 better than expected played it that Jay was going to win a couple of times great comeback form Joe and crowd so in to it,

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – BEST 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH: FTR (CASH WHEELER & DAX HARWOOD) © DEF. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (JAY BRISCOE & MARK BRISCOE) = 9/10 excellent main event not as good as there match of the year first match but still excellent,

a ppv of two halfs a slow forst half but some top matches in the 2nd half

In terms of Prestige, how prestigious are the ROH titles? Are they looked at as just as big stepping stone up to the likes of Impact/WWE/AEW as well as winning a New Japan title?
