You're missing the point a little, although granted I didn't exactly make it too clear.

Personally, I don't need to develop those relationships you mentioned - already done but cost a lot of money (and time). I get asked for details quite a bit by pm's from this board - I take a view, rightly or wrongly, that it's not for me to comment on anyone. Much as I would like to offer free off the record advice.

There are many here who want to get "up close and personal" with one or two favourites but don't have a banker salary to build a relationship with an agency and are rightly dubious about bait and switch.

This seems to be an easy way to verify authenticity (you could presumably verify via a twitter page if you have doubts) about this page and the ladies using it. If nothing else, you get a lunch/dinner (albeit at a cost) and you'll know for sure one way or the other with a pretty limited downside. Do the math, I can see the logic.
