Studio66 USA - Chat & Discussion

I just wonder whether this was never intended as a long term project.

A proper business (and I consider s66 to be in that category) would have done their costings in advance. As well as paying the girls, they had to hire the studio etc., a cost they did not have to suffer when they bought the girls over here. They should also know what an expectant level of calls to pure viewers would be and not work to an un-reachable target.

So hire the studio for a short period - still, probably, cheaper than air-fares etc. - with an option for more if it did work out. And it could well be, for reasons stated above, that this studio was simply not available for longer.

The real tragedy is if those models, and we all know who, left because this venture took away their livings (or atleast part of it)

Now they do have a potential problem. They have a night channel to fill and that must be paid for and currently a smaller model rosta than when they started the venture.

Well, S66 did have this running for almost 3 months. So in all practicality, I think they did intend to keep this project long term if it made money.

It just seemed like it was treading water keeping its head above water, at least until OfCom stepped in and it looks like all the slim profits made evaporated.

An interesting experiment, but I'm not quite sure S66 got much out of it unless it drastically raised people calling in or subscribing to the website.

I'm sure they lost at least a few viewers that migrated to other channels with some of the girls they shed to the bring S66 USA about.

The potential is there for S66 USA Web stream, a lot of these pornstars already do webcam sessions but they do it according to USA timezones and when it best suits them so most of the time UK people will miss out due to time differences. But the demand for web streams and cams has increased drastically if i'm not mistaken so much so that it has actually affected these babe channels. I think the majority of the people calling these pornstars would rather see them on streams unrestricted and able to do whatever they want.

also there is Sophia Lares who comes from Trinidad, Evelyn who is from Russia/Ukraine and babestation babe beth who is from New Zealand. Don't see any of these babes getting criticism for this either

whangie disagree with the reason you give for the us adult stars coming to London to appear on s66. they have lots of fans over here in the Uk and Ireland want to interact with them which they obviously can't do in the uk

agree. hope s66usa goes out with a good show tonight. juankerr, I myself have defended the s66 guest us pornstars from the us bashing, not just when they were on s66usa but when they have been on s66 itself as people have kicked off at them just because they weren't homegrown and taking a shift from a s66 uk babe

You think Ofcom are going to cut them some slack just because it's the channel's last night? It doesn't work like that, unfortunately.

Tori Black was on, meaning that a good final night was more or less guaranteed. It's a shame the channel didn't go on for longer, given the high level of interest it's created in the forum.
