People will carry on posting whether they get their posts counted or not

I don't mind people having enormous post counts.

It's the back-slapping "look at me! I have 10/100/1000/10000 posts" threads. Because unless they're cappers, there's almost certainly nothing to be that proud of.

Lol if it annoys you just so much just don't read the thread simples, given that most of the threads involved are clearly going to be spam related it is easy to avoid, personally i dont care about the threads involved or posters count they cause no problems to me
So i vote i don't care lol.

p.s i would like to see a greater emphasis on the thanking poster option though.

Polls about polls are fine, polls about Poles maybe not so depending on the nature of the polls and how many Poles are voting in the polls with relevance to polls and how many are voting on polls about Poles.
Of course the nature of Poles could be flag poles in which case polls about poles would be absolutely fine.
It really depends on the number of polls you want about Poles or poles and the nature of the polls.
