Edge of Tomorrow.
Solid 8/10, enjoyed it. Great transfer and sound mix, and of course Emily in all her hi def hotness!

In complete contrast, Transformers 4 gets no more than 3/10 from me, and that's primarily for the sound mix. Crap by any measurable means IMO, please let this franchise die now.

The Harry Hill Movie - the least said about that movie the better Blush

Total horseshit from start to finish laugh

I'll be generous and give it at least 2/10 only because it did make me laugh at just how bad it was Rolleyes

I was in the mood for a bit of mindless daftness so I watched Naked Gun 33 and 1/3 last night.
Cheered me up no end - 8/10 Big Grin.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For - 5/10 - Thought it was OK, but pretty poor compared to the first one. Disappointing

Ironman 3. 7/10 Having watched this again I cannot help but still feel a little underwhelmed with the Ironman series overall. Great promise and faultless casting but I always feel slightly underwhelmed as though something is missing. In this case the plot surrounding arch villain Mandarin was ruined. Still overall enjoyable but Winter Soldier, Guardians and Avengers Assemble set the bar considerably higher.

White House Down 6/10.

Utterly preposterous ludicrously OTT flag waving guns'n'explosions cheese-fest with some good supporting actors - James Woods, Maggie Gyllenhaal - but with a fairly bland lead Channing Tatum in the "Bruce Willis Patented Ordinary Joe In A Vest against the Terrorists" role.

The highlight ? Helicopter gunships chasing and shooting the shit out of the Presidential limousine hurtling around the White House lawn, in full view of the US military and the world's media, while the President Jamie Foxx shoots them down hanging out of the car window with a hand-held rocket launcher.

So best watched after a few beers with the brain firmly off the hook.

I'd even suggest watching it in a back-to-back with similarly ludicrous Harrison Ford's "Air Force One" of 7 or 8 years back for a "ridiculous ransom/kidnap attempts on US Presidents" theme night.
