It's not strange to protect tweets. I know a lot of girls are doing this because of real weirdos pestering them with bizarre crap.

A lot of ordinary people I know doing it because of trolls & other weird stuff.

I probably only average a couple of calls a month to the channels in general; budgetary concerns of course, which additionally take into account that I am a long-term caller of some of the ladies who work on the phones for xxXpanded, from well before they took on their TV license. £10 for a lot of private chat with someone very familiar often weighs heavily against a few minutes of shared time with a favourite lady on the screen.
