It makes me wonder if ofcom has summoned them all to a meeting or I refer you to my other point on the rubbish night Thread that they have perhaps toned it down in the knowledge that ED is leaving ofcom at the end of the month.

Do as i do, if the channels are bad I just tune in to Golden Girls for lets say 15 minutes. And when i go back to the other channels it's like erotica heaven with nubile nymphs at every flick of the remote. I know it's not really. But after Golden Girls it seems that way.

I agree so much with the posts above! I used to kick myself if I missed a show a couple of years ago but now it doesn't bother me one bit, how things have changed.

We are all guilty of moaning about the shows being crap, not worth watching, shit sets, etc,etc. But if we wanted, we could visit Babestation Unleashed. There we would all see more fanny than you can shake a stick at. But strangely we don't want Pussie galore. We want something much more erotic than the sight of a naked cunt. But those slips and ''accidents'' are very rare these days. But we still watch on the off chance that it may, just may happen. In other words the idea of breaking the rules. The girls doing what they shouldn't be doing Is what appeals to us. Not legs wide open and vibrating dildos. But as far as those more reckless, daring days coming back are concerned, well that is the last thing the programme makers want.

The balance is wrong presently. There's an incredibly thin line (and thin gusset!) between a show that gives you blue balls and a show that is like watching paint dry. We are in paint dry land at the moment.

The slippage aspect was the whole reason i used to love watching the babeshows. The tease factor of maybe catching a glimpse of nipple on the dayshows or flash of pussy on nights was great.

The majority of people don't want to see full on hardcore shows.

This is the strength of show S66 producers want to put out.
A lot of the girls don't want full on hardcore shows. The channels used to fill a great niche in the adult market. This niche has been diminished to a virtually non-existent size.

Offcom should ease up on the channels for slippage moments, (as long as they aren't blatent or happen at too regular intervals.

The supposed job of offcom is to protect, (like we all need protecting) from overly sexual imagery. Little slippages can't be classed as such.

I must be missing something about these shows. I keep reading about what great shows the models put on. Great all night on all of the sets she did, someone will write. Another will write ''great costumes and oil show''. ''Hope she's back soon'', will come a reply. And it goes on and on and on and fucking on, for year after year after fucking year. And me like a great big soft twat keeps tuning in. Just in case there is one of those slips we have been discussing. But they never come.

The girls are so well drilled about keeping everything hidden. That even I can see a time in the not to distant future, when i will see sense and stop watching, such is the utter banality of what is on offer. Same as, same as, same as. I think I have at last realised that my tv is not tuned into pre-ofcom, pre-shit scared programme makers times, and the time to pull the plug on babechannels is nigh.

This might be a question for the Ofcom thread, but as we are speculating on whether or not we are witnessing the dying gasp of the genre, then I might as well ask it here...

What if one of the channels went "all webstream" with no TV? Would that put it beyond the reach of Ofcom's puritanical storm troopers?

I'm only asking because I only ever watch the webstreams now anyway, though I am not sure how common that is. (Subject for a poll?)

Would there even be a viable business model in an 'all Web' babechannel or is TV still too dominant a channel-to-market to give up? If one of the channels DID go that way, would it be able to 'loosen up' a bit without careering down the slippery slope towards hard core, open-legged pornography that would no doubt drive away many of our favourite models?

Just wondering...

I would like to see Storm make an effort, they have great girls but it's the same show every night.

I'd settle for the same show every night, in better picture quality. Storm had variable picture quality at best, now it's getting even worse all the time now
