Lucy 8/10 Scarlett Johansson stars in a Luc Besson movie that won't be for everyone. Besson always manages to makes entertaining movies. Did I say that Scarlett Johansson stars in it by the way

Dawn of the Planet of Apes. 8/10 A good film though there was a bit too much humanisation of the apes. The CGI is as good as I think I've seen. Sets up the franchise for Battle of the Planet of the Apes nicely.

Lincoln - 8/10

Parker 8.9/10.

Dracula Untold 8/10. Interesting take on the Dracula story and based very loosely on the true story of Vlad the Impaler and his fight against the Turks. In reality this film portrays Vlad not as a totally evil Dracula but one driven out of necessity to turn to darkness. Gifted with superhuman powers it is at no point scary, but its not intended to be.
The most noteable point for me was that the makers are Legendary Films, the makers of Dark Knight and Man of Steel. Now, given there were comics based around Batman v Dracula (or was it Superman v Dracula?) then can anyone see where this might be leading?

Chronicle 8/10 Great take on people gaining superpowers and how it can easily go tits up through misuse.

Avatar 6/10 the Pandora background scenes still look awesome, but the character CGI looks dated, even though it's only 5 years old.
