I've seen far worse tweets posted than her one.
Also another way to look at it could be the fact of being trapped in a confined space with people who don't talk the same language as you and thus being made to feel vulnerable. She very may well have just panicked. We on this forum don't know the full extent of why she made the tweet.
Yes i know nobody is saying her tweet was acceptable, but like i said, based on 1 tweet and not knowing the girls attitude or views towards foreigners i won't be judging whether the girl is actually xenophobic or not, or speculate has to why she made the tweet.
It could has you suggest be down to her age, it could be like you say down to the fact that she felt trapped and vulnerable being in a confined space with people that don't speak the same language, so panicked and described foreigners in the way she did on twitter, or then again she could hate foreigners and be xenophobic, i have no idea myself i don't know the girl, so won't make a judgement .
In my view it pretty pointless speculating has to why she said it and coming up with various reasons to explain her tweet that was Xenophobic, i will leave that for the imagination of others .
Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

RE: Kerrie Lee - Chat & Discusion
Lots as been made of people saying the wrong things lately regarding race and religions, mainly in the world of sport. Thus the governing bodies of the sports involved seem to be coming down hard on the so-called perpetrators of these acts.
By saying that Kerrie as apologised, should that be enough as far as she is concerned, or should she be properly punished for it? I don't know what she said so I can't pass any judgement on her. But she should be responsible for what she says. She is a celebrity of sorts, and she does carry an influence over people.
