I've tried to put only my main hopes for the channels in 2015 in my explanations for my highs and lows to save some time. Otherwise you'll be here all night reading.
Highs
- The return of Alice Goodwin to nights has helped Babestation remain competitive (to a certain degree - reasoning to follow in the catergory below).
- Electra's move to nights on Red Light was an eye-opener. In more ways than one.
- Sophie Hart's and Maddie Rose's performances on Babestation, and I particularly liked the introduction of the "Live Orgasm" segment. I thought this was a really hot idea, and those two babes in particular deserve more recognition for regularly going starkers on their shows. This recognition I felt, in my opinion, was not reflected in the voting during the Ultimate Babe competition. That is not a criticism of how the competition was run.
- The emergence of some excellent babe show talent in Xpanded TV. Great little channel for me throughout the year that has gone about its business in a quiet but effective way. There always seems to be a host of talented girls appearing on there, admittedly the girls inevitably tend to move to bigger channels eventually but Xpanded deserves a lot of credit for continuing to find this talent.
Lows
Well many of the lows we've pretty much covered in the numerous threads that were created specifically to slate the channels:
- BS, although much more competitive in 2014, as highlighted by many more of their girls reaching the latter stages of the Ultimate Babe competition, still has a reluctance to promote new talent and is over reliant on the same performers getting much more air time than others. The air time for their girls needs to be a lot fairer across the roster. There's too much office sets for me aswell, I like an office set, but lets have a bit more variety in 2015.
- Storm Babes has taken a massive drop for me. I have found one of the biggest lows this year to be their lack of a decent web stream and a drop in performances. That's a real shame because I thought they were starting to show real promise at this time last year. Hopefully Tori Lee, Georgie Darby and the (possible) return of Jemma can inspire them to better things and get them back on track in 2015.
- Studio 66. A massive low for me in 2014 and by some distance the most annoying, frustrating and stubborn channel of them all. The appalling production quality and rank bad attitude, particularly in the early part of the year, spawned a whole thread which was pointed out to have literally 1000s of replies. There's no need to go over it again as it's all in that thread, but it goes without saying that this lot at S66 has work to do in the new year and must heed our comments with an open mind. I'll add I've had no problem with their day shows, many of my favourite day girls are on Studio 66, but their night shows sucked in 2014 and this must change.
In all I think most of us can agree on a lot of hopes for the new year and most members have already covered my hopes anyway. End of term report card probably reads 'Must Improve' and I really hope the channels can. Thanks to all the caps and video makers during the year for trying to highlight the good - we've all spent time talking about the bad so hopefully we'll be saying different things at this time next year.
Thats it for now, goodnight.
