He certainly wasn't universally loved on here. In the end, especially, plenty of people were increasingly and repeatedly disgruntled by the fact 'Bob' would avoid answering numerous issues with the channel.
Either way, personally, I remember it differently so

They were the ones who came on here and had battles with people and were largely disliked by the forum, even though they had popular girls on the channel. I don't remember anyone disliking Bob. I thought he was our friend.
I remember plenty of people not liking both the channel and 'Bob' - indeed plenty of people in the chatbox (for example) in particular would routinely air their dislikes. However, this kinda shows the problem with these kind of questions etc. Everything is subjective. What's one persons arrogant prick is someone else's inspired creation, or such like.
It's the nature of the channels on a whole. That's why all these arguments you get on here as to whether or not a channel is good or bad, if a girl is having a great night or a shit one. There is no definitive answer when it comes down to personal taste.
'Bob' also wasn't the only Club Paradiso representative on here.

RE: Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion
What was the tv shows we wanked over before we had babechannels. or was it not encouraged in those days. There seemed to be more tits on general TV in the years before babe tv so we must have wanked quite a lot then. And of course we had the mags that would get passed around until it got impossible to seperate the pages. And the joy of a porno that you hadn't seen before, And the despair when the tape broke in your vcr, rendering both tape and machine ''fucked''.
But six hours of patiently unwinding shredded tape off delicate recording heads and you were ready for the next adventure of Chesty Morgan. So was wanking really better then? Or am I remembering it through misted eyes. Maybe in years to come when the only thing hard in your trousers is the loose change from a tenner you got from the price of your last pint. Then none of us, not even Rammy, will give a fuck.

RE: Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion
^Interesting topic and posts, particularly BarrieBF's.
Barrie's post highlighted to me the perhaps somewhat obvious observation that good shows can still be produced under (what is later to be seen as) a bad management regime but your more likely to get a preponderance of good shows under better management. (Yes I was probably a little slow on the uptake with this!) What goes on at the top is always going to be reflected by standards on-screen I think. I mean, most of the top babe shows I have seen have been on channels that have survived. Only bangbabes really bucks the trend (I've only been watching since 2009) and we all know why they fell on their sword.
More to the point of the topic is that fact that any good shows are going to win some fans for the girl in question and so win praise on here; but I don't think such praise is ever going to 'save' a channel. Unfortunately, I don't think the opinions of forum's like this are important enough one way or the other in regards such things. (The larger social media networks are becoming a force to be reckoned with in shaping mass public opinion of course and can definitely be a force for change these days.)
The audiences for the babe channels are obviously small in comparison with the mainstream ones but I think us forum dwellers still represent quite a small percentage of their total viewer-ship. The best we can hope for is to be fairly representative of a channel's full body of general viewer/caller opinion.
The nature of fan forums, however, is that they encourage comment from people who are particularly passionate about the given subject. This tends to lead to mostly polarized views being expressed - both good and bad. The general, non-fan, occasional, viewer is almost by definition going to be more apathetic towards the channels but will probably still miss them if they are gone. If there are enough of these type of people, whose opinions should the channel bosses give greater weight to? Are we that big of a collective to the channels that our "this is bad" should carry any sway? Particularly when, as Goodfella says, there would seem to be enough guys who will call them regardless of the strength of the nakedness on show.
And are the bosses listening in any case? Recent research in the States has concluded that if you are bad at something you often lack exactly the skills required to appreciate that your bad at the skill in question! People like that running a babe channel would not consider looking outside for recommendations on the service they are looking to provide anyhow. Businesses often fail because those in charge think that they know best and refuse to look to anyone for advice. The babe shows do such at their peril... but probably only if what they present on-screen stoops below mediocrity too often!
In other words, your average general populous of horny guys will put up with a lot of shit on-screen before they see a channel fold and by that time it's probably gone for other reasons!
Babeshow n. - Live Adult Entertainment genre based around premium-rate phome sex chat lines. Scantily-clad female presenter induces callers and users to other inactive services from three-walled set in a TV studio. Largely softcore Tease format influenced by standards and strictures of free-to-air TV platform..

Nope, genuinely meant Club Paradiso (when I stated it as a guess and never as a definitive answer).
I wasn't really watching the shows during the chatback days, and it was in its final death throes before I joined here (with SuperSpurs last posting weeks before), so I can't be mixed up about a channel (and rep) I have no memories of
