Genius he was, but more importantly there's three kids now witout a father. I hope the press let the Jackson family grieve in private.

It's sad when anyone loses their life but the Michael Jackson I knew growing up as a kid died many years ago. In a way it was almost written that he would die before his time like,Marilyn,Elvis,Lennon etc. etc. His latter years have seriously tainted his outstanding musical legacy in the eyes of many whether you believe the rumours or not.At least that has now come to an end.

Never been a big fan but it's hard to argue with album sales like his. It's always sad when young children lose a parent so my sympathy is with them. I have to say I always thought he'd get shot by a nutcase.

the tributes have alreeady started at glastonbury with gabriela cilmi singing somelines from billie jean during her slot and im sure all the other acts will too especially the big names like lady gaga and bruce springsteen
