Kingsman : the secret service 9 1/2 out of 10

Great film you have to see it Samuel L jackson plays a great bond style villan Colin Firth is damm good in the action scenes especially one in the church.

Mark strong is great as merlin who is like a Q type character

the final bit of the film with exploding heads to the strains of Land of hope and Glory is Great as well as the way Jacksons character is killed

if you have a choice of seeing this or 50 Shades deffo pick this Wink

Bad Neighbours

Basic plot is we have new parents who go to war with noisy neighbours who have just moved in next door who happen to be a pair of 20 something's who in-between college studies do nothing else other than throw a mad party every night.

I give this move 5/10 - The reason I mark it down so much is because sadly I felt what could have been a very funny movie was ruined by the fact that it relied on vulgar humour and scenes to carry the movie that were completely unnecessary and quite frankly disturbing.

A missed opportunity as far as I'm concerned Huh

The Lord of The Rings : The Return Of The King 8/10

First time properly watched this again since it first came out.
Still a bit unsatisfied with the ending - OK the film is long enough as it is, but missing out Saruman taking over the Shire and turning it into a kind of 19th century industrial slum slave state, and the Hobbits having to fight a final battle there and rebuild it kind of destroys one of the main points of the story : the idea that this great war takes place overall Middle Earth and everywhere pays some kind of price, even this tiny insignificant corner of it. But the adventures the four hobbits have been through means they can fight that most important battle themselves without Gandalf or the elves or all the rest of it.

If the second film had been a bit tighter and taken Frodo and Sam up to where they are at the end of the second book, then there would have been plenty time for this in the last half hour imo. (Instead we get bloated battle scenes and an unnecessary amount of slow-mo and endless bits of characters staring at each other misty eyed: a trend that sadly continued into The Hobbit films, I suspect again in order to string them out to a trilogy when they could probably have done that book in two films.)

Licence To Kill, a very underated Bond and gets better over time and was why ahead of time considering that under the Daniel Craig Bond its lot more dark and serious just like Licence To Kill, plus it had a great sound track, its shame Dalton didn't do more Bond films and that it didn't work out for him to do Goldeneye 9.4/10.
