The point is that I don't automatically pop up to disagree when someone says the channel is wonderful. You on the other hand will almost automatically appear every time someone is critical.

So maybe that lecture there should be aimed at yourself don't you think? We know you love the shows. We know you'd be positive if they stuck the old test card with the girl with the puppet up for 8 hours. There really is no reason for you to pop up every time saying the same old thing every time someone is critical.

Because you see what you say is just opinion as well and you thinking everything is hunky dory doesn't actually mean that is the case. So from time to time maybe you should allow the odd critical post to pass without any comment. What do you think?

I think im entitled to respond to whatever posts i want to on the forum and not be lectured by other forum members like you on how to behave on the forum. Also your not getting the point what I was making which is that you present your opinion as fact and is the only right opinion to have regarding s66 and anyone who disagrees is always wrong as far as your concerned

I've never said everything at s66 is hunky dory. I recently said at the moment it is off form, that the roster isnt properly balanced interms of daybabes and nightbabes and they do need to bring in more nightbabes including a big hitter to replace clare richards who recently retired from s66 and the babeshows. Also the babeshows have been in steady decline for a few years now for various reasons including webcam shows.

But still think s66 is nowhere near as bad as some forum members keep wanting is to believe it is and at times gets more criticism than it deserves. Often it feels like you cannot say anything positive about s66 and if anyone does say anything positive then god help them

Will agree with goodfella3041 that s66 is the best daytime channel/show and can see what he's saying, but don't think myself s66 are slowly giving up on the nightshow market just yet.

Regarding the future of the babeshows Ive said for a while that they would eventually go online mainly to avoid the tough ofcom rules but also because people more and more are watching tv on their tablets and smartphones instead of in front of a tv. Still think this will happen but not as quickly as I thought as the tv babeshows still seem to be doing well most nights and also the fact that there is a new babeshow (sin tv) starting soon indicates there is still money to be made from the babeshows on tv

Perhaps 66 is the only one offering new contracts for days recently? Talent is going to gravitate towards where there are shifts to be had (expanded hours of 'daytime' equals expanded number of total shifts available) and towards where their desired level of skin showing (for want of a better term) is perhaps best appreciated. And if 66 are the only ones really hiring, the difference between their pay rates and that of the other channel's becomes a little mute.

If we have it right that s66 troubles really began with its history of poor compliance on nights and a decline in their ability to compete with the big boys on wages, I would have thought that their day girls and producers wouldn't have felt quite the same pressures that resulted in such personnel turbulence on nights. In some ways this has been 66's saving grace: It's daygirls have been protected by a lack of decent competition and are now even flourishing at the expense of the channel's own poor showing on old-style nights. It's actually a good job that 66 had them to fall back on.

If its true that Cellcast is selling off its assets to survive, 66 is trading off what they have left of theirs and turning it into their new focus for the time being.

I'm not meaning to be awkward, but maybe Sin TV won't last very long, in which case it wouldn't indicate there's still money to be made from the babeshows on TV.

The whole point of a night show particularly after 9 or 10pm, is for the whole purpose of sex chat with a glamour model, not an extended day show with a day time number, regardless of who is on screen.

My disappointment is that when Hannah Martin said she was taking a month off, I was gutted.

OFCOM governs ALL channels, not just S66 and the tamer the channel gets, the less phone calls they'll receive.

Know your not, time will tell with sin tv, but the fact it is launching for me indicates there is money still money to be made from babeshows on sky and freeview

Both but particularly the former with relation to when the smart TV in every home has access to every channel delivered over the net. How will that be regulated? (Of course then the channels have the problem of how they distinguish themselves from the mass of online porn that may sit right next door to them at that stage. But that's a different debate...)

Even a political climate where seemingly every politician doesn't seem to want to demonise all forms of pornography might help the channels to move more mainstream once again.

I think the cycle of all of these things will turn again.
