Clarkson was given what he called his "final warning" last May after claims he used a racist word while filming the popular BBC motoring show.

At the time, he said the BBC had told him he would be sacked if he made "one more offensive remark, anywhere, at any time".

So unless that disappears they will have no choice if they want to save face

If they sack Clarkson then its because the BBC want to end the show, that would smack of internal wrangling in the halls of power at the BBC. The other two, add to the show but just don't have the persona to carry it on their own and I can't think of anyone else who could replace him. Think TG and you think of Clarkson.

My guess is the suspension will be lifted and this will be a 'lesson'. After all it sounds like it was just a fight. No need to blow it out of proportion. I used to fight every day in my previous job. Did I get suspended? No, they pinned medals on me and promoted me

Probably heat over his on air comments about MP's, OBEM,as well as the features wher he will "insult" a country..

Top Gear with out Clarkson is 5th Gear.. and we know how well that went..
