RE: Scottish Football
Just before kick off Sky Sports showed us the current table based on form with my Dundee Utd side rock bottom, so if the season started in January I'd be a very worried man right now.
At no point do we look like scoring from open play, our passing is woeful as is our distribution of the final third. Yes the first goal we lost was an absolute shocker from Rado but when confidence is at an alltime low such as what it is right now who can really the blame the keeper when he knows that our chances of scoring are not very likely.
A lot of shit has also been happening behind the scenes too at Tannadice such as the gaffer getting a cut of the recent transfer money which has been quoted by some in the media to be as much as half a million aswell as the money being shared out between the various board members.
Politics off the field can have such a drastic effect and its something that needs to be sorted out as up until now the Thomson family have had an easy time of it and were viewed by many in the support as saviours of the club.
Although I haven't been to any of the recent games due to my inability at present to leave the house I still put a lot of my money into the club when I can and as a supporter I expect better starting with some honesty at the boardroom.

RE: Scottish Football
Unfortunately the club has put money before success once again. I hate to say it but I'm also beginning to wonder and question if Jackie McNamara still has any heart or pride in the job now. If he did indeed get a cheque to the tune of half a million quid after the recent transfer sales I just can't help but get the image out of my head of him punching the air in delight, cracking open the champagne and doing some sort of victory dance round his living room like a man who has just won the lottery.
Publically he'll try and convince the supporters and the media that he's still devastated about the sale but I'm really beginning to wonder if deep down that's just all a very good act as one look at his massive bank account and he's already got his dream holiday earmarked aswell as some flash new car and designer clothes to pose about in on his days off
Let's just say that when Jackie does his weekly food shopping in Tescos I very much doubt he's carefully checking all the price deals.

Football wise I'm not too sure, I actually think the game will resemble something you'd more likely see at the basement end of the table which could be a very bad omen for both teams next season

To be honest with you I think for the sake of Scottish football that we need to see an Edinburgh or Old Firm derby back on the cards at the top level. I'm glad to see Hearts back as they always bring a healthy support to Tannadice.
I'll still say that I favour the championship team in the end of season Play Off's with that honour either going to Hibs or Rangers.

You're right, it would be better for the game if one of them came up too. I'm just letting my personal dislikes get in the way.
Another reason you'll be glad Hearts are back up is that you always seem to beat us!
