I notice that the HD symbol is not on the control bar at the moment but it was earlier. Perhaps they were switching the streams on their site.


Actually, there is no choice of stream quality available, it is just set at whatever it is right now.

An 'interesting' development.

From multiple mpeg2 .ts streams, we now have a single flash stream(with OSG). Also this stream is not picked up by one of my capture programs yet the other sees it. This may be an attempt at protecting the stream from remote capture.

The main stream on the website is still not working but they are now online using x-stream 1

There is quite a difference in look to the pictures on the main stream and the x-streams.

The TV stream is glossy looking and vibrant :



The X-stream for the same session has a low contrast matt look to it :



(those were both HD streams)

So while the x-stream has the advantage of no phone numbers in the way, the tv picture looks much superior as a picture.

^^ Well the SD (tv) stream is a high bitrate flash stream. The X-streams are still multi-selection mpeg2 - not available when I first posted about this.

They appear to have removed the 47 kbps stream. Maybe the 'default' is now 690 kbps which does give an inferior looking picture. Is it still bad for you on 3250 kbps ? Are you able to check that you are actually getting 3250 since all 4 are active.

I was also wrong about my capture program not picking up the flash stream. It does now.

^^ Mind you, X4 is still partially fooked.

I did flip between 690 and 1500 and could not detect much difference. I suspect that not all bitrates are/were active.

mate they have just increased the saturation and gamma. theres no difference in actual image quality just different settings used for the output.
if you use vlc, use the advanced picture options to change the colour, saturation, brightness,contrast and gamma.
you will get the same results...

Thanks for that Hexit, I have had a play around with the settings and it looks much better now.

Don't want to put a downer here,but its just more of the same for me,no real true Babeshow girls,just more of the same-WHERE ARE THE Stunners-PAIGE-DONNA-DARYL-MORGAN-RACHEL,the list goes on,if SIN-TV are serious in their new venture they certainly need to find new talent to equal the line up's from the past,Pornstar types,girls that have been about for years may be a safe bet,but apart from Kara-AVERAGE is a polite word.
