Is it only having one channel? Is it having a phone system that to my knowledge is still not working properly? The answer is probably a combination of these or something similar.

I hope that Sin TV doesn't go under because in their relatively short operating time, they've brought a much needed breath of fresh air to the channels.

I hope so too. It's higher production values are certainly welcoming. But sadly you get the feeling the other channels have cut theirs to survive a declining market, and sooner or later Sin TV may have to follow suit. Hope they buck that trend but I'm not hopeful Sad

Rammy,

No one expects the 'Spanish Inquisition' and no one expects you to say anything different Smile

But then no one also said they would be 'going under anytime soon'.

They have come to the market at a time when others are contracting. s66 has let one channel go - the one that Sin currently have. PB/RL have ditched two. And Bs have a channel they simply do not know what to do with. Business is all about supply and demand. You can create the supply but if there is no longer the demand then you have to create something different. They, Sin, have that with the streams but if the demand does not find the supply then that becomes wasted resources or, in other words, surplus supply.

Does that contravene Ofcom Regulations?
Another Channel was taken to Court for advertising their Non-TV Compliant Web Site on their TV channels!
I know its In-Direct advertising, not sure how exact the Regulations are!
Maybe they should be careful?

I would think so, if the Bluebird case is anything to go by.

Since the Sin TV twitter has a link to their website it's a breach of Ofcom regulations to advertise their twitter on TV. That was the Bluebird ruling.

They could strike a deal with BS to run their ads for them, as they are the only ones allowed to do it, on their Dutch channel. They would have to make it well worth their while, what with being a rival channel, but the management all know each other from the good old days, according to what I've read, so they could try.

^ Yes, what I meant is that BS1 is allowed to advertise their bsx content, which is stronger than the sin x-streams.

Shush Rammy, it's probably best not to mention this, a certain person that supposedly runs the "Battery Hen" channel could see your post, it's against Ofcom rules i believe, he could well now be recording Sin TV on DVD, and could send his DVD's by courier to Ofcom, it's been done before, as you well know .

Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

^ That's because BSX is encrypted, you have to pay & be over 18 to view it!
Also I'm not sure if it's stronger than what is allowed on the X-Steams, its down to what the babes are prepared to do on the X-Streams!
