RE: General Election Vote
Interesting to note also that the same group of people who basked in the glory of Scotland voting No to Independence and accused the Yes camp of being sore losers are now the ones calling for proportional representation who at the time said and I quote.

"Tonight has been a great night for Democracy" Now the boots on the other foot. You reap what you sow, call it Karma Bounce

Make no mistake about it, once Cameron has stopped celebrating his victory he then has the nightmare prospect of 46 SNP's in the House Of Commons who will give him more of a run for his money than Farage and his bunch of jokers ever would have managed.

Cameron thought after the No vote that the United Kingdom was safe from Nationalism, think again this is only the start of something big Big Grin

The referendum was PR, in it's purest form.

RE: General Election Vote
Well Cameron is going to have to appease the Scottish people as there is no other choice for him, seeing that we can now dangle the carrot of Independence in his face I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Sturgeon opts for full control over the Scottish Economy.

I strongly suspect that Scotland will end up more or less having the SNP Govern the Country which in theory will make us Independent. Cameron has no choice as he is desperate to hold onto the union so through gritted teeth he's going to have to do a deal with the devil.

Lets just say that the Tories remit on the Scottish people is going to be seriously cut down. Cameron may be victorious but once the reality has set in he knows full well he's going to have to eat his humble pie and be done with it.

Yes it was, you are correct on that one as it was the only way possible in which Cameron agreed to but a General Election has a whole different set of rules. Also because the Independence vote was solely conducted in Scotland then everybody was on a level playing field.

The same logic however cannot be applied to the General Election for the reasons which I have already stated, no surprise to see the biased BBC backing proportional representation as we all know they have a political agenda against Scotland.

If it hadn't been for the SNP Landslide they would not have led with that story but they have been clever in the wording of their story but I can see straight through their bullshit Rolleyes

RE: General Election Vote
I see that Thanet council has been won by UKIP even though Farage lost the Thanet South parliamentary seat.
Thanet to be withdrawn from the EU Bounce.

Something like Hadrian/Berlin wall.

Actually I wasn't, or 45% of the country would be independent. What I meant was, a clear majority got what they voted for, unlike in the general election.

So, do you think the SNP should now do a complete U-turn regarding their views on PR?

Or would that make them hypocrites?
