^Because there have been similar mutterings for weeks now.
For the record I don't want Sin TV to close, but there are problems which need fixing which aren't being addressed. This will naturally lead to speculation of different sorts.
In reference to your post, this is a forum where people can post what they want(within reason). So I will continue to post my speculations and other content whenever I want. Unless you Tories think that you're suddenly in charge of the forum.
No but its every thread for every channel theres a conspiracy theory that channels are going to close. only one reason why channels close and thats ofcom close them in the case of bangbabes
and Bluebird went because a certian millionare playboy got bored and moved on and also didnt pay an ofcom fine
Bangbabes were in a bad financial state before Ofcom revoked their TV licence, after Ofcom revoked their licence they still carried on broadcasting as usual on the Sky tv Playboy licensed channels that they were broadcasting on at that time, they were supposed to be soon starting broadcasting on another Playboy licensed channel just before they folded, Bang Media had liability's of over 1 million pounds when they went bust, if i remember correctly it was said they hadn't and couldn't pay the Ofcom fine they were given a year or so earlier . If Bang Media had been in a good financual position it's quite possible that they could have paid the fine and still be broadcasting today using Playboy's licence and channels like RLC do .
There were probabley a number of reasons why Blue Bird finished .
For one thing, Blue Bird didn't own any TV licences, they broadcast on channels licensed to other company's, they last broadcast on channels licensed to Satellite Entertainment LTD, SEL was also in a bad financial position, they struggled to pay Ofcom fines they were given from when they broadcast their own Sport xxx shows, a girl who worked for them posted the info on this forum somewhere .
SEL was also the company that got the fine and in breach rulings when Blue Bird broadcast using their licence, and not BB .
SEL is now in liquidation and was if i remember correctly issued with a strike off notice by company's house just before BB finished , BB didn't have much option in the end, the channels they broadcast on either had their licence revoked or went bust .
Also if i remember correctly didn't Hotel Voyeur also go bust ? .
Cellcast are also not doing all that well, they were still suffering lower revenues the last time i checked .
RLC have lost 2 channels
STD 66 have lost 1 channel .
Xpanded have also lost 1 channel .
So i'm not sure everything in the garden is rosy for those channels either, although there are many reasons why channels reduce the number of channels they broadcast on, which could have nothing to do with their financial state .
By the way, the company behind Xpanded TV isn't doing well, i checked their financial status a few weeks ago .
So all in all it seems to me most of the babe channel could be struggling at present, so it's quite possible Sin TV is the same .
It's early days yet, but if they are not making the money they hoped to make, will they have the enthusiasm to carry on for a good length of time ?, i think only Sin TV can answerer that one .
