did ITV digital go tits up because of it running out of cash or it went bust because of the Sentanta Sports thing went tits up at the same time and iTV cash was tied into that?

It was because Sky's encryption company NDS (Which was owned by NewsCorp at the time) secretly distributed cracked ITV Viewing cards to drive them out of business.
