Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Oceanographers from the University of Western Australia say the location of the debris just discovered is 'entirely consistent' with a graphic they created over a year ago which shows the probable drift patterns of the remains of the missing plane.

Another piece has been found apparently its an internal door with Malaysian and chinese writing on it

Certainly looks like the Ocean is finally giving up the secrets to the missing plane and I guess it could spark a fresh search in the area....

Malaysian officials have said the 'door' looks more like a ladder and they don't think it's part of a plane.

The wing fragment washed up on Reunion island is from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, the country's leader says

Search for further debris now should surely concentrate on the coast of Madagascar, because Reunion is tiny in comparison.

Although examining every piece of rubbish found on the beaches of Indian Ocean islands from now on is a laborious and time consuming process, it's surely more promising than combing thousands of miles of seabed which so far has gone on for a year and found nothing.

French investigators learnt on Thursday that a series of numbers found inside the washed up plane flaperon matches records held by a Spanish company that manufactured several parts of the MH370 flaperon. This means with 'ironclad certainty' that the flaperon came from MH370.

A developing story today is that MH370 has been found crashed on an island in the southern Philippines. If so it would be contrary to most of the theories to date but nevertheless the idea is being taken seriously by the media.

Someone might have found plane wreckage, but how could it be MH370 in that location? More likely some wreckage from WW2.
