The vanishing 8/10

Not as good as the French original ( which has the same director ) mainly because of the Hollywood ending where good triumphs over evil. In the original the hero meets a more realistic grizzly end.

American Sniper - really enjoyed it

The Shawshank Redemption.... for the 100th time (probably)
One of the best films ever made IMO.
10/10 all day long.

^ the montage where the old guy Brooks is released on parole and is "living on the outside" with his voice over reading the letter back to his mates in the prison is perfectly done, and the music is really atmospheric : simple and haunting as well.
"I don't like it here...I'm not gonna stay."

Copycat.
Sigourney Weaver is really excellent in this film.
Gripping stuff.

It is an interesting take on how they got their powers, but there wasn't enough action scenes. Hopefully the second film will be a lot better.

While we were young.
It was an ok film but it reminds me of Noel Gallagher statement 'that the best song writers have the best music cd collection' basically insinuating that they all steal off each other.
I bet the writer of this film has seen all about eve and crime and misdemeanours.
Was of very similar ilk. 7/10

dead rising... lol 3/10, the game was way better.
