Torchwood
Am the only one that thought that series of it wasn't very good, really wasn't keen on the stroyline and it felt rushed towards the end of ep. having said that i thought the 5 hour long ep's worked.

i have to totally disagree with you, those 5 eps were better than the 2 full previous seasons. its been the talk of my work place, its had everyone there gripped, on the edge of their seats and down right shocked. after tonights conclusion, its going to be interesting to see where it goes next.

so yea, think you are prob the only one that didn't like it.

I liked it too, although I agree the end seemed a bit rushed. Not sure if that was last ever one or not, seemed pretty final to me.
SPOILER ALERT!
Did anyone else think that Jack's grandson would come back to life? I thought he may have inherited Jack's immortality. Can't believe Jack went through with it, it was very shocking.

I suppose he felt guilty about the 12 kids he had previously given to them and so had to sacrifice his own grandson. No other option anyway.
I did think perhaps the Doctor might arrive to save everyone at the last minute.
This series will need a lot of editing if they ever make a "childrens" version.
I enjoyed it.

RE: Torchwood
i just prefer how the other seasons where, it felt like they did too much all in one go, could understand if it happened through out a 13 ep run, but not in 5 ep. i wanted to fell suprised with it but you could easily see it was going. I had a mate of mine round and he his not a fan of it and guessed exactly was happening before it happened and thats how i felt with it too.

RE: Torchwood
I did enjoy it as well although I agree that the ending was a bit hurried and all a bit convienent etc.The ending did let it down a bit.

I thought the Mon-Fri episodes worked well building the suspense leaving me looking forward to the next one(and not having to wait a week)

I hope its not the last one...but with Gwen pregnant and everyone else dead apart from Jack......it seems that that the prospects of drawing your Pension if you join Torchwood is Zero

However I suppose that Lois could join and theres Johnson (Female SAS(?) Army Squad leader dressed in Black lol),Dekker the Boffin/Tech Expert and Alice Carter (who seemed to be able to look herself)

Edit and Gwens mate in the Police

Im still a bit confused about the relationship between her (Alice Carter) the "grandson" (?) and Jack........have they ever mention Jacks family before?.....

I wonder if Jack will meet up with The Doctor on his travels and prehaps return for a new series with the Doctors " daughter" joining Torchwood ?

Dont forget you read it here firstBig Grin

(like cdm79 I expected the same thing about the "grandson" expected him to come thro those swing doors. )
