Nothing could be further from the truth. Cook has strolled to a century in an utterly serene way, completely untroubled except for one close lbw shout. At tea on the 3rd day England are 197/1 with Cook 116 not out.

Bell got an edge off their fastest bowler and it landed 3 ft short of the slips.

And I could not be more pleased to be wrong ............... so far . If any team can cock it up from 290/3 it's England . #seen it all before .

This is why people don't turn up to watch test cricket over there. Who wants to turn up to watch a batting paradise pitch where only one result is possible.

It's hardly worth watching.
