A solid strong start to the series Melissa Benoist plays the two roles differently making you truly believe they are two different people. The couple problems I had was Jimmy Olsen comes a little too smooth and suave I don't have a problem with his race being changed or the way he acts just that he comes across as being in love with himself. Am also hoping they have a really strong villain for the rest of the season like how Flash had with Reverse Flash and Arrow with Deathstroke aside from that a very good start to a promising series. 8.9/10.

I like bit where they were trying out different costumes, the line about the cape and aerodynamics was funny.

the jaw dropping moment was at the end.

pretty much agree with you. Melissa Benoist was very good as Kara/Supergirl, thought the special effects were very good, the story was good, setting things up well for the series with a good twist at the end.

also really loved the nod it gave to the classic Supergirl film from the 1980's and the Superman tv series by having the couple that adopt kara on earth played by Helen Slater (the original supergirl) & Dean Cain.

has the potential to be as good as The Flash & Arrow
