FHM & Zoo Magazines suspend publication

Been announced today that lads mags FHM & Zoo have suspended publication. Not surprised by this news as people are no longer buying lads mags because they can get more explicit & graphic content than you get in lads mags for free.

Feel sorry for those at FHM & Zoo who maybe about to loose their jobs

feel sad about FHM bought it when was in late teens and early 20's

feel sad that young men will not have such magazines

That is a shame but a long with the others that have ceased in this current time it must be difficult to make magazines such as these a viable business to turn profit, wish the people who are going to loose their jobs all best in the future and have some great issues before then.

The only issue I buy now is the Top 100 issue but got to say its a shame its going under. I was teenager when it was at it's peak and you had the likes of Maxim, Sky Magazine and Loaded, FHM closing feels like the end of an era.

yep it is the end of an era. I used to buy lads mags a lot but haven't bought one in years (including the fhm 100 sexiest issue). will be interesting to see if FHM & Zoo will carry on as digital only titles beyond the end of they year or whether at the end of the year they finish completely.

think those that still buy lads mags will be fine as plenty of online ones around like Lad Bible

No they are not carrying on as digital publications was in the guardian story as online advertising doesnt make what they got as offline advertising

this may give the babeshows a massive boost as there will be models who have regularly appeared in fhm & zoo that will now be looking for work to replace the work they would have got for fhm & zoo, so may decide to give the babeshows a go

Doubt it because they were going for more Z list celebs like the towie and made in chelsea lot

Now that the femi nazi's have won they will be turning full attention onto the channels now

very sad to see such fine magazines go after so long, the must be the last ones to close down

The lads mag era is over, killed off by the all powerful internet. How long will it be till the babeshows suffer the same fate.
