Do we bomb Syria and Islamic State?

so the russians are backing assad and attacking the moderate rebel army cameron is relying on. i think getting involved in syria now, when it's such a clusterfuck would be a huge mistake!

Well i don't know about anyone else, but i'm quite proud that i live in a Country that is so perfect that we can afford to go around the World sorting other people's problems out for them.

Have I opened a can or worms with this or not? We could be already be in world war 3 where our enemy is un - seen one who works alone or in a large group that probably has a figurehead who is simply hidden away from public sight and that has HQ which we simply don't know where it is and by putting troops on the ground would only probably fire up IS followers and fighters even more determined to destroy us & the west altogether

The real danger with all this bombing/regime overthrow etc, which has been going on in recent years, is that different sides can become entrenched with political/military positions and before you know it World War 3 has started.

One of the big problems with fighting fanatics like ISIL is even if we do eventually defeat them in Syria and Iraq they already have thousands of fighters in northern Europe who are prepared to give their lives to the cause. What are we going to do about them? the moment the main ISIL forces are facing defeat there will be a bloodbath across Europe.

Sadly that has already started in Paris. The threat is already amongst us and to those who question the claim that ISIL have attempted 7 attacks in the UK in the last 12 months I believe they briefed the leaders of the other parties & I don't think they challenged this today.

It is only a matter of time before the UK suffers a paris style attack, there are hundreds of extremists who have returned to this country from Syria and are being monitored by the security services, they are enough of a danger to us but what about the illegals who have sneaked into the country? a few weeks ago a farmer was shot at by 3 migrants who jumped from the back of a lorry, the police have yet to find them. The moment we begin bombing Syria it will be the signal for them to attack us.
