I decided to watch this movie because of Jeff Goldblum, my favorite American actor, but without many expectations...usually i don't like horror movies... but I changed my mind ...really enjoyable, good story, excellent special effects (for that time), a great performance of Goldblum, a disturbing and dramatic end!

Spies Like Us. 7/10.

Cast away, 2000, directed by Robert Zemeckis, with Tom Hanks.
8/10- good film, and a great Tom Hanks

Tropic Thunder, piss funny film and Tom Cruise stills the film 8.9/10.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Lives up to the massive hype that surrounds it and exceeds it massively. The special effects & action sequences are amazing & jaw dropping, lots of funny moments & one liners throughout. also some great twists and also some very emotional moments. Nice nods & winks to the original trilogy

As for the cast, Daisy Ridiey is fantastic in her first ever film as Rey, John Boyega is brilliant as Finn, Oscar Issac is very good as Poe Dameron and a very good performance from Adam Driver as Kylo Ren.

As for the retuning cast, Harrison Ford is brilliant as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher is very good as General Leia Organa & Mark Hamill plays his part as Luke Skywalker

The star of the cast though is actually non human. It's BB-8 who steals the show, such a fantastic character

As for where it ranks in the franchise, I think 3rd with only The Empire Strikes Back (1st) & A New Hope (2nd) above it

Film of 2015 for me

Star Wars:The Force Awakens - 9/10 - Absolutely incredible, I've not enjoyed a film this much in quite a while. Completley reignited my love of all things Star Wars. The sour taste of the prequals has been washed away

Force Awakens. JJ Abrams is a genius at refreshing tired franchises. You can tell that this was filmed from a fans perspective with many nods to the original trilogy. The balance of something old, something borrowed and something new sums this up perfectly. This is a masterpiece with a big shock in it. I actually saw half the audience jump up in their seats and cry out at that point 10/10

Star Wars Force Awakens 10/10 Wow have to say my 2nd fave film of the franchise after Empire Strikes back JJ Abrams fucking amazing work gone back to the originals in style and susbtance it hasnt been CGI'ed to death but the stuff thats there adds to it

I saw the Shock twist coming a few mins before it happened but still made me gasped loved the fact that there was a lot of comedy bits especially with Chewbacca

the 2 new leads are excellent get a feeling there are going to be a load more revelations in the remaining 2

only negative is think the baddie look a bit Harry Potter evil wizard and the emporer style role looks like voldermort but other than that best film of the last few years
