I would also have to go with the styles clash in terms of its devastation, as a submission thats a tough one would probably side with the sharpshooter.

I wouldn't want to take a spear from Goldberg in his prime years,I don't think he realised how strong he was or that pro wrestling is a work
The Diamond Stud/Razor Ramon/Scott hall Outsider Edge was a always a dangerous looking finisher, even Bret Hart never wanted to take it.
Some of the moves the Japanese wrestlers do are incredibly dangerous as well.
As for submissions,as a kid I hated the look of a well executed Boston crab or The Hitman's Sharpshooter,he always performed that move better than Sting.

In my opinion, that WM13 submission match between Stone Cold and Hart is still the best WM match of all time, absolute drama in spades.
I think Taker had it written into his contract that he would never loose via submission/tap out.
As for submission holds in general, its all about how aggressive a wrestler looks applying the hold for it to get over with a crowd.I remember my nephew when he was 6 years old, laughing at Cena doing his shitty STFU,he turned to me and said "He's not even hurting him." yes a 6 year old saw through Cena's offence

Hate to moan and complain but that's just how I see it this year
I know what you mean mate,I went to WM 15,17,24,25 and to experience it live is tremendous.I will say though, the live crowd reactions at 15 and 17 were much louder and more intense than 24 and 25.Then again,at those 2 manias I was too busy laughing at the abuse Cena got.
This years show doesn't hold much promise, due to the lack off effort in recent booking. The Shane/Undertaker and Vince angle has been piss poor so far,I'm hoping that they can at least have a decent match on the night.
