RE: Sin TV - General Chat & Discussion
^^ I am sure they did originally pay else the tv screen would have been blank even quicker. In fact I believe the first fee has to go with the application else it will not even be read.

The licence holder for the FV slot was also slow coughing up. That was noted in the 'under investigation' section some months ago.

What I also find rather fascinating - nothing tho to do with this shambles of a service - is there are many licence holders listed on the Ofcom site which do not broadcast at all in the UK (or appear to do so). Of course even with 906 which has a Dutch licence there are these oddities but there are a whole shaft of them on that list.

Mr Orgen resigned as director of the holding company many moons ago and one would naturally expect he is not involved in the business in any way. Yet his name still shows as the contact. That itself qualifies as a 'breach'.

@DB83, Just a thought, does the contact shown on the licence have to be a director ?, if not then although Mr Oregen resigned as a director, he could still be the one to contact and still be involved to some small degree,
I don't think he was ever the the money man or a shareholder of the company, just i director .

Both Mr Oregen and the present owner and director of the company behind Sin TV are both still directors of the other company they set up around the same time .
Honey Club TV LTD is the other company they set up around the same time, Mr Oregen is still a director of that company, along with the present director and sole shareholder of the company behind Sin TV, details here https://companycheck.co.uk/company/09329...ecretaries
So they are still probably in contact with each other .
Honey Club TV used to have a twitter account and promote Sin TV if i remember correctly .

^^ probably not. But not a tea boy either Smile

But the other 'interesting' info is that the company addr is wrong on the Ofcom page. Even more evidence in my mind that this business is just being left to rot.

If in fact they still have the EPG slot it would be because they haven't managed to find a buyer. That's the answer to your question.

It isn't required.

The fact that Sin TV were broadcasting in the first place is all the proof you need that they paid Ofcom the original amount due.

Don't forget that Sin were awash with money at the start of their project and the Ofcom money would have been a fairly minor expense.

Seems their slot is now being used by Studio 66. So any hope of a return by Sin in the future has now gone for the present.

RE: Sin TV - General Chat & Discussion
^^ Hell no.

s66 are now using ch184 on FV which was, if memory serves, the ch used for its brief foray on FV.

But 184 is just a number. It's just a pointer to a frequency just like 942 was. Viewers to Sky would not have realised that the s66 frequencies changed a few days ago but, of course, the ch Nos did not.

If any service came back on to Sky it is not to say that they would be on 942.

RE: Sin TV - General Chat & Discussion
Just thought i'd clear a few things up concerning Sky and freeview channel slot numbers .

S66 programs/associated programs used to be broadcast on Sky channel 942, they ceased broadcasting on this channel, Sin TV then took over the channel slot, when Sin stopped broadcasting live shows on 942 various adverts were shown, old recorded RLC shows were also broadcast for a time, the channel slot was then removed from Sky's adult section completely .
There is currently no 942 channel slot on Sky TV .

There is still a channel slot on Freeview Ch 184 called "Sin TV", it is currently showing a on screen caption saying "Sin TV Has Closed" .
S66 broadcast on Freeview channel 185 .
S66 is not currently broadcasting on any channel slot previously used by Sin TV, either on Sky or freeview
