Like I wrote before,the crowds are always hot,its the action that is crap and that goes for the first boom period and the attitude era.

I thought that with the exception of the Reigns/Styles angle,which moved on quite nicely the RAW from last night was mostly lame.The Jericho vs Sami Zayn match was your typical Jericho affair,nothing exciting and it looks as WWE have no faith in Zayn.I thought Shane O'Mac's new RAW was supposed to be about new talent.The Dean Ambrose/Kevin Owens match was good but hardly drew any big time heat,I think Ambrose's stock has dropped since he jobbed to a veteran part timer at wrestlemania.

Enzo and cas on the mics are brilliant. they should have at least 30mins of them and Dudley boyz just trash talking each other.

since new day came out with booty o's the crowd has started to like them a bit, there is less new day sucks.

As soon as I see the Dudleys,I just switch over because its not 2000 anymore.

I'm concerned with a few angles at WWE right now.

Firstly, Dean Ambrose has indeed suffered from the loss to Brock at WM. OK so a rivalry with Jericho is alright-ish, but it's hardly new ideas. Bit of a strange one for Shane to say he would be promoting new talent and new ideas only then to book the same sort of matches we've been seeing already. I mean if it's a feud over a 20 minute-filling interview show (aka a pointless beatdown) because the 'Ambrose Asylum' replaced the 'Highlight Reel', well that's a bit blah to be honest. I also don't know why Shane is still hanging around so often, unless it's to cover any holidays for WWE directors in real life.

Secondly, I'm worried they'll turn AJ Styles heel and use the angle of his buddies Gallows and Anderson attacking Reigns to promote this further. I've no doubt that Gallows and Anderson are real talent, talent which the company needs as much as it can get it's hands on at the moment, but making Styles heel and keeping Reigns face would be pretty stupid for me.

Finally, they do seem to be overlooking Sami Zayn a little. I was confused when they made the stipulation that if Zayn beat Styles it would make the Payback main event a triple threat, only then to have Styles win. Why make the stipulation if it's not going to happen? It was a good match between Zayn and Styles, very entertaining. But the final result rendered the angle useless.

A really strange RAW for me on Monday. It all just felt a bit surreal, a bit laboured and a bit of a confused mess. Just weird.

Couldn't agree more.Also regarding the tag team thing.Its all so underwhelming,I understand it has a purpose(its 1 of only 2 angles that does)but its just not very rewarding to watch.WWE at the moment reminds of WCW circa '99-01.Nothing makes sense

I was actually impressed with the tag team tournament outcome. The tag team division is one of the few really good things in the company at the moment.

I just thought that it would be something mega boring like Usos vs Dudley Boyz in the final but giving major pushes to both Enzo & Cass and the Vaudevillains was a nice move. Whoever they have booked to win and go on to face the New Day will be something different from the lame, stale Dudley Boyz getting the title again.

I do see your point though mate about several things looking on the bland side. Kevin Owens looks to be treading water again, the fucking Miz continues to devalue both the IC title and the company, and Brock Lesnar is absent so much he may as well have not come back.

The outcome of it was fine in terms of Enzo and Cass,its nice to see quality workers like that get a push as you wrote,just the action in the ring and reaction from the live crowds just made it seem a little bit of a none event.
