WCW Fall Brawl 2000
Goldberg vs Scott Steiner
Quite simply, this is one of the best and most competitive matches that Bill Goldberg ever had in WCW.Such a shame that due to the contributions of Vince Russo, the organisation was in decline and hardly anyone saw it.The match although totally overbooked(the interference from Midajah and Russo was not needed)was a fine example of how to present two powerhouses.Steiner really stiffed Goldberg with punches and forearms before Goldberg came back with an impressive military press into a powerslam. After more interference from Russo, Steiner slapped on the Recliner which Goldberg powered out of by throwing Steiner over his shoulders and halfway across the ring(Goldberg really didn't know how strong he was)the finish was tarnished by Midajah, after hitting Goldberg with a gimmick baseball bat,Steiner reapplied the Recliner for the win via stoppage.Overall, an impressive effort, not many wrestlers would dare to do things they did to each other, which was a testament to how tough both guys are. This is the type of match that Goldberg and Lesnar wanted to have at WM20 but were unfortunately not allowed to.

Cactus Jack vs Chris Candido(Smoky Mountain Wrestling,18/11/94)
Due to his lack of size, the late great Chris Candido was completely overlooked by WCW and the WWF but excelled in every promotion he ever wrestled in.In Smoky Mountain it was no exception and this match is another example of how talented he was.Playing the cowardly heel against a popular Cactus Jack,Candido takes all the short cuts in order to really make Cactus look like a superstar.A good short match which combines exciting action and ring phycology perfectly.

Yeah,Bossman was once a fine worker but by 1999 he was unfortunately past his best.

Bret Hart vs Ricky Steamboat WWF Live from Boston Garden(08/03/1986)
They were supposed to square off at WW2 but plans were changed so Hart and Steamboat simply showed MacMahon what he was missing out on by having an utterly fabulous match on TV instead.A steady build up consisting of holds and reversals that transpositions into a full on,action packed and extremely competitive match which was so much better than most of the other WWF TV matches booked at that time. Both workers in their prime were excellent to watch but I also give Steamboat(the bigger name at this point)extra credit for making a heel Bret Hart look like a genuine threat.

Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho WWE Great American Bash(20/07/08)
A memorable match in a very memorable fued, after smashing HBK face first through a fake, flat TV screen in an angle a couple of weeks earlier,HBK wanted payback.A full on,hard hitting scrap in which both men proved how good they could brawl as well aseexecute high spots.Of course Jericho went after HBK's injured eye.HBK sold it very convincing,so much so,that many fans and wrestling writers believed the injury was genuine. In an era in which nobody can be fooled,Michaels apparently proved that it can still be done. The finish was brutal and well staged,Jericho repeatedly punching Michaels in the right eye until he got the win via referee stoppage.

Forgot they had a match in 08! Even though his time with wwe is on/off u still can count on Jericho to deliver something whether he a face/heel. The stuff u described I can imagine he doing it to perfection, back in the day he could be the ultimate heel, just a shame he shaved that long heel beard off!!!
