All though this is a Supergirl thread just gonna comment that Once you have worked on Superman series/film etc you have a lot of love and respect for the characters and want to return:
Dean Cain
Helen Slater
Laura Vandervoort
Christopher Reeve
Annette O'Toole
So it's not completely impossible for someone to have already been involved to do so again.

^i think Christoper reeve might find it a tad impossible to return mate.

Margot Kidder (her niece has been in Arrow she played Damien Darhks Wife)

Have all been both in Superman films and the different shows.

I meant in general appearances in other Super shows as he was in Smallville.

Dean Cain & Helen Slater are in supergirl as the couple who adopt Kara/Supergirl on earth & Laura Vandervoort plays the villain indigo. would be great if superman in s2 is played by tom welling

WWE Wrestling fans will be interested in this episode as a wwe wrestler appears in the episode on sky1 at 8pm "Myriad"

CBS have chosen not to green light Tom Welling new show leaving the door open for him to appear in Supergirl, all tho I would love to see him appear as I stated before he wasn't keen on wearing the superman suit in the smallville finale unless CW listen to fans, at the moment it's more likely it will be a totally new casting but even that does happen he could still appear in the show in a different role.

Episode 14 was a bit crap. Both the main plot about the Master Jailer, and the subplot about Cat's new deputy, were pretty dull. On the other hand, I suppose that did mean I sped through them quicker, and I did LOL at the opening "I, Non, the recurring villain, will now take 2 more weeks off to allow the writers to drag out my plot as long as possible" bit

Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Superman, I was right had feeling it would be more likely it would be totally new I have a feeling Tom Welling will appear one day but as a different character.

Episode 15 was a bit better. Bless Laura Vandervoort for putting up with a crap character and a crap costume. If there is one character who bored the life out of me in Smallville, it was Brainiac, the all-purpose plot device.
The other dud aspect was the unsubtle inclusion of the Fortress of Solitude, which has mysteriously not been worth mentioning in the previous episodes. Hmm...
