I'm trying to work out if this is irony or a genuine belief.

The scare mongers had done their job well.

Chances are if we did leave ata worse case scenarior whilst things ajust there might be a bit of a recission the same as we have seen a few times in the past whilst being in europe.

Do the in poeple REALLY honestly think it's goign to be absolute calamity. Rolleyes

HAHA, I'm 47 and live in an housing association flat and on sick with less than £3000 to my name; wrong on all fecking points there dude. Big Laugh

Recessions happen they always will, I was talking to a person in a bank and he said generally they have a 5 year cycle, when a recession starts it will end 5 years later or so.

Point is, recessions have happend whilst being in EU, there's no protection there, but, like with the pound, being out of EU may protect the UK better in the long run.

It would only take a few countries to have a real finantial melt down to bring the rest of Europe with it.

Think of the masisve depressions in Germany in the 30's or america for that matter, the UK being seperate didn't have one as bad; has the latest Euro crisis has shown, being out is not automatically a bad thing.

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
well if thats your situation i would be even more worried and voting to stay because when theres a huge gap in the finances where are they going to look for it in the budget ?? the ESA and PIP they tried before to get changes thru only the lords stopped them then. I know a few people who have had there sickness benefits reduced and stopped altogether who are clearly not fit for work but have to go through appeal process which takes up to 6 months.

but if you trust the tory goverment to do the right thing by you go ahead and vote to leave Tongue Tongue

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
People seem to think that leaving the EU is the same as never having joined but that is simply not the case, the world has changed since we joined. Globalization means that our economies are far more interconnected. Nearly half of our trade is with the EU, the fate of our country is tied to the EU, if you own a business and half of your sales come from one customer and that customer goes bust, you are going bust as well. Brexit will not create a buffer, even out, if the EU if goes down it's taking us with it. This is the way the world is now and it's not going back, so the question is to you want to be at the table deciding the policies on your fate or do you want to sit on the sidelines with your fate in the hands of others and no say at all?

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy

Yes, they have been trying to reduce ESA and MP's who have been claiming 100,000 grand a year in expenses have been voting in favour of this cut.

But

We ARE in the EU and the money is needed to deal with other demands, not least a surge in benenfit claims from immigration.

ATOS and all the people who work for them are nothing more than the lowest of scum, the questions ask are deliberatly designed for you to fail (for example, can you move to the seat directly next to you); you say 6 months it's took me 3 years to stoped getting harrased by them.
I don't think people realise that ATOS is a money making bisuness that the government pay a bonus to each and every person they get off benefits. A particuler favourate is seasonal, or tem work, so they can keep getting bonusus from the same people.
