The myth that ALL EU regulationgine how that could be multiplied across industry in the event of Brexit).

Could the UK it's self introduce OR keep existing bennefitial legislation and regulations?

Why would leavng suddenly mean these will stop?

The Lisbon Treaty provides for the negotiation of a withdrawal arrangement, not a deal on the UK’s future relationship with the EU. This is obvious from the wording of the treaty, which refers to the withdrawal agreement taking account of any 'future relationship'.

Contrary to what wackawoo claims, there is no obligation on the EU to sign a trade agreement with a departing UK. The words 'future relationship' indicate that there would likely be some agreements post-Brexit between the UK and the EU, but there is no certainty of it.

Wackawoo I'm glad you've found some propaganda that you believe as anything from the Remain side you've dismissed. By the way I never said all banks would leave. Please read things carefully. There are clearly elements of Financial Services that will be impacted but as they are bankers I guess you don't care.

Over & out

I'm afraid the whole thing is just a wackawoo fantasy.

The Lisbon Treaty doesn't say the trade agreement would not involve tariffs. In fact it doesn't even mention a trade agreement.

The treaty provides for the negotiation of a withdrawal arrangement, not a deal on the UK’s future relationship with the EU. There could be agreements made to define the future relationship between the UK and the EU, but there is no obligation on the EU to make any such agreements.

Having read the text of the treaty myself, it's clear that wackawoo's claim is simply ridiculous.

So today the Times declared they were supporting staying in.
Next day the Sunday Times announces it wants out.
Is that what you call hedging your bets?

The Sun has declared for out so that's 2-1 out in the Murdoch camp. Only surprise is it was not 3-0. I expect a new editor to be appointed at The Times imminently Big Grin

Good God, not another one. Will you people STOP being selective, I posted nothng on the lisbon treaty, I hadn't heard of it until i looked into these tariffs; but I guess if it's not anyhting in support of the yes clrealy it is false information, as all out abjections apparently are on here.

OK, I am now fed up of poeple on thris thread manipulation and taking out of context.

I'll leave you to your mutual masturbation about how right you are.

Clearly this is only a place for the yes people, if you don't bow down and fawn at how right you are and how wrong the out poeple are clearly it means you are a raging brexit nutter, even if you are not quite decided

Tell you what, if you lot are an example of the in brigade quite frankly, i might vote out just to piss people off, even if in the end I thought the in side took the edge.

Enjoy.
