Yeah a team from group F in round two (round of 16).
Quarter final potential opponent France as I said before.
Unless France lose their second round match.
Of course England may lose in round two as well so it could all be irrelevant.
England could end up playing Portugal in round two.

Like I said IF your going to win a tournament you'll have to beat the bigger teams .

It's very difficult to break teams down when they just park the bus. It's like trying to knock out someone who just covers themselves up and doesn't throw a punch. The better teams will be more inclined to attack. What was worrying was the lack of close control around their penalty box.

Glenn Hoddle had the answer... England should have had Andy Carroll available. Interestingly, a lot of people seem to agree with him.

You can't take everyone but Carroll would have given another dimension. Him and Vardy would give teams two contrasting problems and get each other more space as a result.

I agreed with Glenn too. If we had taken Carroll it could have given us something different

Just imagine all the flack Hodgson would have got if, with all the strikers he had to pick from, he'd have picked Carroll and we'd spent the last 20 minutes against Slovakia lumping it into the box

England qualify undefeated.
They've dominated all 3 games (when did that last happen in a tournament)
Hodgson has been able to rest players & make sure the other players have had game time for when they are needed later in the tournament.

The only player I was disappointed with was Wilshere who I thought was poor throughout.
