Well it's decision time just hope our poll stands up to matching the exit poll yet again!! (I think the election poll was pretty close wasn't it?)

I hope the turnout is decent but with the weather as it is I think it will have a huge bearing on the result

Just thinking about it Hannahspet whichever way the vote went it could the result bring about another constitutional crisis? they were saying that it is possible that a leave vote would make people in Scotland push for another referendum vote as they see a leave vote as obstructing Scotland's application for EU membership...

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
SNP have made it clear that if overall there is a vote for Leave but a Remain vote in Scotland then that would be seen as an event which may precipitate a demand for a new Scotland independence vote. I mentioned this in an earlier post as the Brexit camp don't seem to care about this. The union with Scotland seems to be seen by them as collateral damage.

On the subject of the weather some are saying that if its bad it favours Leave as their supporters won't be put off by the rain. They say it's like that in most elections as the voters for leaving things unchanged are less motivated. Others say it will make no difference at all. Latest weather forecast says its clearing up anyway!

I think I'm right in saying that Nicola Sturgeon was quoted as saying that she wasn't too keen to revisit a Scottish referendum vote so soon after the first one or something, I may have heard this wrong though

Well as most of the leave side are tory and ukip who view scots as a nuisence

I can see if its leave SNP will go for 2nd Ref and will almost certainly win it this time. logic being the NO's were voting for Economic security and being in Europe and if we leave will be no securtity and no EU membership so whats the point of staying

With Oil prices starting to rise again talk of 80$ a barrel by end of the year economic argument for it could be good and talk of financial institutions having to find locations where they could set up EU bases JP morgan were saying yesterday on Bloomberg not decided on either Dublin or Frankfurt. but an independent scotland and edinbrugh with all the financial institutions already there would be a great choice

^ She'll want to be sure she can win it. If we are seen to be leaving the EU against the will of the Scottish people then that could be what she needs.

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
The SNP won't be able to push for another independence vote without a parliamentary majority, which they don't now have. So it would be 2021 at the earliest before the process could even start, assuming they regained a majority at the next election.
The problem Sturgeon has at the moment is: alot of SNP supporters are thinking of voting leave because they think it will trigger another independence vote. So she's been drumming in that, if the UK votes leave, and Scotland itself votes leave, there will be no grounds for another referendum.
