RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
Chris Bryant has now resigned from the Labour front bench. His resignation letter is on his Twitter @RhonddaBryant

It makes interesting reading saying if Corbyn refuses to step aside he may go down as the man who broke the Labour Party.

Gotta wonder which side is responsible, is it the remainers trying to bump the figures, or the outers deliberately trying to discredit it?

It was something around 77000-78000 that were removed, so not a big deal now, given how many others have signed. Although I doubt it'll be taken seriously, it can't be ignored completely, not when you consider it'll probably be around five million before midweek.

The whole thing is becoming a bit of a farce tbh, the promises are being broken and the predictions are coming true...pesky experts and their truth telling.
i saw very little truth telling. a lot of scaremongering but no1 actually mentioned the real issues of Brussels wanting to create a federal government of europe thats unaccountable to its member states (much like washington dc).
all i heard about was misinformation on nhs spending and immigration which i knew was BS. i had to go look for the truth myself.

thats why im still firmly leave. and certainly wont be throwing my votes behind boris and his ilk. shit im even annoyed at corbyn. annoyed

Corbyn has refused to step aside, and has basically said 'bring it on'! eek

Are the Liberal Democrats making a comeback? Since the referendum result, the Lib Dems have recorded thousands of new members. They have announced that they will fight the next general election on a pledge to cancel or reverse any Brexit and maintain UK membership of the EU.

It's pretty clear they wanted a 'united europe' with the centre of power in Brussels.

The whole thing by Obhama was to deal with Europe as an WHOLE, individual countries didn't really matter to him, except his closest allie France maybe.

Err no if they have it in their manifesto and get elected of course it is democratic!

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
If Boris becomes Prime Minister it will be without being elected by the people. Now Boris and other Leave campaigners claim that the EU isn't democratic, but how democratic would it be for Boris to make a major decision to invoke article 50 without being elected by the people?

If Boris believes in democracy then let him prove it by calling a general election before he acts drastically by invoking article 50. If he wins the election then all well and good, as he then has a personal mandate to take such a far reaching action as invoking article 50.

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
^ The mandate for invoking article 50 has already been given, who actually does it is not relevant.
