RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
there looking for excuses mate. the truth is the establishment have no idea why the people voted the way they did because there so disconnected from us.
the 1 thing i would say is the reason most people voted was because they saw through the lies and fearmongering that the government was spouting.
in reality most had no idea why they were voting they just didnt like being lied to.

the government is to blame for this mess, they should have educated the public instead of spinning bullshit and trying to scare them, with the result turning out rather different.

my guess is they didnt educate the public on purpose so they could get the result they secretly wanted even though they claimed remain.

Its a nice story but I think they're miles away from the truth.
As I've said before and I'm willing to maintain, I believe the public majority voted leave because that's what their hearts told them, not because of political party shenanigans.
I'm sure the 'In' crowd would like to believe this because it contributes towards making a mockery of the outcome.
Yes Jeremy Corbyn is a total fucking wet-end, but that isn't the reason the Labour regions of the UK didn't listen to him.
They didn't listen to him because they wanted to vote leave (for themselves) it really is that simple.

Yes that does appear to be the case. He's saying that we basically won't notice any difference and life will go on the same as before.

It makes you wonder why we bothered having a referendum in the first place.

So Brexit has been cancelled. I had a gut feeling this would happen, but I frankly had no idea it would happen so soon.

So wouldn't that make them vote in rather than out? I was under the impression people from poor areas voted out and rich people in.

Has for imigration, I'm in the north/midlands and the two towns near me there is a huge amount of imigrants, they were quite rare a year or two ago; this is an area that was already struggling for jobs to start with.

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
I said a few days ago that despite being a Remainer that if the Leave winners of the referendum negotiated a deal with the EU that I could support that I would vote in favour of it if given the chance. Lord Heseltine has said today that he doubts an acceptable deal can be done and that if an unacceptable deal is put to the House of Commons it will be defeated. At that point a general election or further referendum would be required so looks like we might all get a chance to validate the negotiation.

Whatever the reasons that people voted for leave it is certainly true to say that the promises made do seem to be unraveling. I do therefore question what has been achieved beyond a replacement of David Cameron and a potential swing to the Right by the Conservative Party (bear in mind Cameron was threatened before the vote by Leavers with a leadership battle). I suppose the attempted coup against Corbyn is in some eyes another achievement although his response seems to be to move his leadership team further to the left and defy his critics.

So we could end up with the 2 main parties being unable to command a majority at a general election and even possibly a deal with the EU that gives us no say in EU decision making, no MEP's and having to follow certain EU Rules to get free market access.

This democracy thing is quite astonishing isn't it?
