(He did this several times this morning.) He should also not do stupid, lingering close-ups of the performers' feet while they are on a call. A few nights ago when Nancy was working solo she had to tell the cameraman to move the camera on several occasions. In general, stop jerking the camera around. This is not rocket science! Frame both girls as large as you can while still keeping both in the picture, and let them perform. If you can't manage that, let the girls use the remote to zoom. Thank you.

Good Lord, what are they up to now on AC? This morning the boss and some other guy installed a bunch of new equipment - two small cameras on little quadrapods and apparently a small laptop on a small table to the right of the couch. So now you have one girl (Nadia this morning and Nancy this afternoon) seemingly performing for the laptop on their right and not looking into the camera. Since on the webstream at least we can only see the one camera view, this is TERRIBLE. If this turns out to be some kind of pervcam concept, it is going to be a disaster. It is no fun right now watching Nancy's attention completely turned away from the viewer. Does anyone know WTF is going on?

It is indeed pervecams. One could see a non-Thai person resetting these up earlier this morning since one (of two) had been left open to view (for free)

Why should it be a disaster ? The whole point of a service is to make money. I would guess that since there are two then the laptop will be moved so that there is still a tv pic unlike @bs when the picture goes to logo during a pte request.

I think there are lots of reasons this may really suck, which are all chronicled on the London show threads and can be read there - it has meant lack of movement as girls are tied to these little cameras, they probably won't be moving up for close-ups to the regular camera as much, we will have to watch girls completely distracted from the view that we have with no eye contact. I also wonder what is going to happen to spicy show, which has been very nice recently with great nipple tease shows...now will the girls be flashing to the pervcams so that the rest of us can't see them? I think it also means that girls are going to be banging away on keyboards giving their little messages rather than performing.

And is this a subscription thing, or do we have to pay every time we want to see the girl perform for the pervcam? Maybe I am overreacting, but I think this going to be awful and it just may kill the whole thing for me.

We think we are providing constructive criticism to make the channels better. But at the end of the day the channels do not give a toss of what we write. And some are just as dismissive to those that make a substantial contribution to their coffers.

FYI pervecams are glorified webcam shows. You do pay per minute - the equivalent of 3UK£. Or 5UK£ for a private performance of-screen. So it is not cheap. But guys (and girls) are prepared to cough up and whilst there are payers these will continue.

They need to sort out the basics and improve the lighting before they worry about pervecams. So gloomy on that set you cannot see a hand in front of you.

Thanks, DB; it's nice that this is a cordial forum where we can discuss things in a friendly way. What you say about them only being concerned with how much money they can squeeze out of us is beyond dispute; I've always been overly idealistic thinking that these channels would want to increase customer satisfaction (especially where it is easy and costs nothing to do it) as a way to better revenues - but this is not the industry for that kind of thinking, is it? And I am sure that your characterization of their rationale for doing this is right.

Seems like pay more to get less. 3 quid per minute to see a girl's panties. No thanks. If one pays 5 pounds/min for off-screen can he see nudity during the day show? I don't think the AC studio is set up, or big enough, for that, and Thai laws may prohibit it. What will get for our money? I can't afford that in any case.

Partially I am lamenting the fact that as AC is progressively swallowed into the Babestation machine, it becomes less unique and different, less Thai, less interesting. I have loved AC precisely because it was not a BS clone. It has always had a different vibe, more exotic, more playful, less "filthy."

Now I will be fine with this if they do one of two things: a) start to broadcast spicy show through the night rather than closing down at 10:00; or b) have a separate "chat room" for a girl doing the pervcam, so the other girl(s) can carry on with the regular phone calls - maybe rotating the girls around. Day 2 of the pervcam era at Asian Connections, and the results are not good. I know that the presenters need time to get used to the format, but what I see is instead of two girls performing well for one camera, we have two girls, each doing poorly trying to perform for two cameras at once - and I don't know how they are going to resolve that. It's not their fault; it's the format. Nancy, who should have been giving us another of her incredibly erotic and enjoyable tease shows, spent way too much time with her back to the main camera, presumably so whoever was on the pervcam could see her ass. Well, thank you pervcam for an incredibly LAME spicy show. You can really see now how it changes the whole dynamic of the program.
