Quote:- It had been noted on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Sasha Banks was cleared earlier than expected because she did not need surgery after WWE officials originally thought that she would. It should be noted that some plans involving Bayley have been scrapped due to Sasha's return, but the Sasha versus Charlotte rematch was always scheduled for Clash of Champions.

Quote: - Regarding the WWE Cruiserweights, here are the current names that are expected to be part of the division:

Gran Metallik, Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Cedric Alexander, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins (the former Manik in TNA), Noam Dar, and Rich Swann.

According to PWInsider.com, it's believed that the initial division will feature just the ten talents mentioned above for the time being. Right now, the plan is for the talents to work RAW each week as well as NXT TV and live events. As noted, the division makes its RAW debut on September 19th in Memphis, TN.

Quote:- On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the Paige situation with WWE and how things are "looking really negative right now about her returning."

Meltzer said that while Mark Carrano of talent relations probably didn't directly threaten to fire Paige, he doesn't think that story came out of thin air and it's possible that Carrano hinted something to Paige. He said the fact that the story is out makes him think she's probably done with the company.

"If she is done, they're probably trying to maneuver to where she can be released and she can work elsewhere because she is under contract to WWE for a long time."

Wow Paige situation is stupid Basically bosses telling her to end it with Del Rio and threatening to fire her if she doesnt.

Mind you also rumours shes has Neck Problems & combined with curvature of the spine shes always had might mean she has to retire. although only in her 20's she has been in ring for over 10 years

Quote:- The September 5th 2016 edition of RAW did 3.069 million viewers overall. This is down from last week's 3.413 million viewers. Next week is the start of NFL football season which has to be concerning for WWE.

Below is the hourly breakdown:

8PM: 3.350 million viewers
9PM: 3.066 million viewers
10PM: 2.792 million viewers.

Quote:- There has been backstage talk within WWE regarding the possibly of adding a cruiserweight division to the SmackDown brand.

Vince McMahon wants both RAW and SmackDown to have the same number of Champions, and if the RAW brand’s cruiserweight division is a success, then there is a possibility that we could see one added to the opposing brand as well.

While WWE has picked a majority of the RAW cruiserweight roster, they already have a couple names in mind that they would bring in from the Cruiserweight Classic for the SmackDown division.

It's likely that Cesaro will catch up and it's believed that the 4th match was done in London so the 7th and final match can take place at the Clash of Champions PPV.

love the fact they keep mentioning world of sport but that ended 30 years ago. and basically ended because it was shit in the end was to much big daddy the john cena of his day Tongue

I may not much like Cena, but I'm pretty sure he had more of a skillset than Big Daddy.

I like that story about Vince supposedly wanting a C-W division on SD. It reads more like he doesn't want one on Raw. Since SD runs for less hours, how can they adequately put forward the same number of titles as Raw?

Also cunning that Cesaro started winning series matches on house shows. Not good enough for Raw.

I would hope the title awarded opportunity is the universal, cesaro as mentioned deserves better and has proved himself in the midcard already, give him a chance.

Big Daddy was selfish and basically refused to put anyone over.His brother Max was also the head booker so he let him have creative control over everything.Although Cena is slightly more athletic,you can compare the way Vince books Cena to how Max Crabtree booked Big Daddy.

Agree that Cesaro deserves better things. Presumably he wins this series, and he ought to have a title feud afterwards. I suspect the Uni title scene will be a bit crowded around S Series, but he could certainly carry his end of a feud up to R Rumble.
