There are two reasons why the best match of the night, The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler, didn’t close the show. One reason is that the company feels if they would have put the match on last, it would have given away the “feel good” moment of Ziggler winning the title. The second reason is WWE officials feel that Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt are both bigger superstars than Ziggler and The Miz, and they should go last.

Quote:As previously reported, Bill Goldberg is rumored to make his return to WWE after being away for over a decade to face Brock Lesnar in a WrestleMania 20 rematch at the upcoming Survivor Series event.

One of the ideas pitched for Goldberg’s storyline return would see Shane McMahon signing Goldberg to the SmackDown brand to battle Brock as his proxy. Lesnar would then go over Goldberg, which would ultimately lead to a showdown between Brock and Shane at WrestleMania next year.

As always, plans within WWE seem to change on the fly, but this is just one idea that is being discussed.

Quote:Luke Harper made his return to WWE programming to help assist Bray Wyatt in his match against Randy Orton in the closing moments of the show.

Luke Harper was originally scheduled to return to the RAW brand and not the SmackDown brand. With Erick Rowan being out of action for four to six months, WWE reportedly decided to change their plans and give Rowan’s position to Harper.

WWE most likely won’t go with a single’s feud between Harper and Orton. This feud will possibly be a tag-team feud with Orton finding a partner.
