Dodgers won game 5 against Nationals by 4-3 with Kershaw getting last 2 outs for the save.

Kershaw had a 5 innings 101 pitch outing in game 1 getting the win 4-3 thanks to good relief pitching, got a no decision in game 4 after pitching 7.2 innings with 110 pitches and leaving with bases loaded but a 5-2 lead which bullpen let slip only for us to win 6-5.

Need other pitchers to step to the mark to challenge the Cubs

Advantage Cubs against the Dodgers, winning game 1 8-4 last night. Game 2 is tonight at 1am, with Clayton Kershaw starting for L.A., and- likely Cy Young Award favourite- Kyle Hendricks starting for Chicago. And tomorrow night will be game 3 of the American League series, with Cleveland up 2-0. So it's a must win for Toronto.

On afternoons at work as of tomorrow so hoping to be able to stay awake for all of tonights Cubs game. Pretty sure I'll still be awake for tomorrow nights game too

Went down 3-0 early got it back to 3-3 and then undid all good work giving up grand slam homer bottom of 7th

Loving the game right now. Kershaw is putting on a pitching masterpiece. The Cubs just can't touch him tonight. Still only one run in it though.

7 innings from Kershaw 2 from Jansen. Just as well that bullpen got rest given rest of pitching rotation

It's gonna take a minor miracle now for Toronto to make the World Series, after losing last night to Cleveland. The series is now 3-0 to the Indians, with game 4 tonight, and Cleveland ace Corey Cluber pitching.

Toronto win game 4 by 5-1

The Dodgers beat the Cubs 6-0, behind a diamond pitching display from Rich Hill, and subsequently, take a 2-1 series lead over Chicago. Cleveland and Toronto square off in game 5 tonight. And the Dodgers and Cubs game 4 follows at 1am.
