But time and again you never do explain why you are so right in everything and I so wrong. You just seem to be more interested in trying to score juvinile brownie points.

Is there freedom of movement for ALL peoples of NAFTA in exactly the same way as there is in the EU? That is, even unemployed can move to a different country for up to 3 months if they wish.

Simple enough question.

If it is, all is well isn't it? You are completely right and God is in His heaven, sitting at the right hand side of you.

But if it isn't, it shows you can have free trade without full freedom of movement in a trade block, does it not?

It would also begs the question that if there were freedom of movement betwix Mexico and the US has there is in the EU, would there be movement en mass of the poor Mexicans into the US seeking a better standard of life, may be perhaps like there is with Polish and others to richer memeber states in the EU.

I don't know, I'm just a poor misconceiving fool.

Wackawoo - if you have been paying attention to the news this year you may have heard that there has been a Presidential election in the USA. A guy called Trump won & part of his racist campaign was about Mexicans & a wall. Ask yourself the simple question - would he have talked so much about it if there was legal free movement of people between the USA & Mexico?

Hope that helps

Dear boy, that was my point.

Nevertheless, america, canada and mehixo are part of a trade block.

From the article above which I linked to.

Quote:Freedom of movement is an important part of this cooperation, encouraging tolerance and understanding among people of different cultures. This can help to break down harmful stereotypes and prejudices. It can also help to build solidarity between people and governments of different countries. This will make EU countries more likely to pull together to solve shared problems, such as the Euro crisis.

Mmmkay.

And

Quote:In April 2013, four EU governments called on the EU to change its rules on free movement to make it harder for EU citizens to claim benefits when moving to another member country. These governments argue that higher standards of living and a generous system of state benefits in their countries have attracted large numbers of EU citizens from the newer EU member countries (in particular, the eight Central and Eastern European countries that joined the EU in 2004).

UK Home Secretary Theresa May has claimed that these citizens are “benefit tourists.” That is, they are not workers or self-employed, and have come merely to access public services and the host state’s benefits system.

Now I'm all for imigration, it is one of UK's best attributes, but freedom of movement is not the answer nor is it necessary as people claim.

Put simply NAFTA is a 'trade agreement', it deals almost exclusively with trade, not other factors like movement of people. The EU is a much bigger thing, covering much more than just trade, hence there is the common currency, and a parliament etc.

So, no there is no freedom of movement under NAFTA.

For your information, this took 30 seconds to confirm using google (other search engines are available), much quicker and easier than deliberately provoking others Smile

But we are not in the Euro either are we?

I know there are other issues, but freedom of movement is essential to none of them.

Trade has the utmost important thing to consider for brexit, it has been shouted many times buy remainers on here how we have, to quote silent majority' 'just resigned from the worlds biggest trading block' and how terrible that is; now apparently that's not really the larger issue.

Freedom of movement of people seems to be linked directly with this, funny how now it's nothing to do with it apparently. People in the EU can't just live willy and indeed nilly any where in the EU with out a job and contributing, they can do for three months only. They need to at least have a few weeks in the summer doing a seasonal job until they can have full access to all the UK bennefits. But clearly that is wide open to abuse.

Even the British gonernment under Cameroon aknowledge this, and May calling them bennefit tourists.

Don't you think that if those countries in NAFTA can have a trade agreement without freedom of movement then so can the UK with the EU and whoever she pleases?

You should spend a little more than that 30 seconds with google.

Here's an idea, why don't you list in detail all the things YOU think freedom of movement is absolutely and totally essential for? I never see this from people like you, you're always, our view is right everybody else is wrong.

Incidentally, you'll find it''s other people attacking pretty much everyhting I write like hysterical women, I respond to those attacks.

No, not with the EU, because unlike NAFTA, freedom of movement has been inextricably tied into the requirements of the EU, and the other EU nations have made it absolutely clear there will be no free trade for the UK without that freedom of movement.

That's nothing to do with MY choice, or MY beliefs, that is what the EU countries are saying, so you saying it can happen because NAFTA exists is just pie in the sky, with no attachment to the reality of what is happening.

They are a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) which grants Norway access to the EU's internal market. It also makes them subject to some of EU regulations, directives and legislation. The downside being that because they are not a member of the EU they have no say/input in these laws as they go through the EU parliament. Though the Norwegian parliament has to approve new legislation, 92% of EU laws that have gone through their parliament have been approved unanimously the rest with a broad majority

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy
