Midnight Falcon by David Gemmell
A continuation of the Rigante tale which began with Sword In The Storm,Midnight Falcon is a must for fans of fantasy writing.Absorbing, interesting and as compelling as Game Of Thrones, Gemmells book evokes images of amazing battle scenes mixed with intelligent text and allegories to contemporary life.

Star Studies :
Elizabeth Taylor by Susan Smith
A real standout in the star studies series that shows that all the marrisges and public scsndsl often distracted from the real reason Taylor became a star.Highlighting her tremendous performances in Giant,National Velvet and her work with Montgomery Clift that showed the actress' flair for engaging audiences in the first place.

The Spear by James Herbert
Harry Steadman investigates the disappearance of a Mossad agent and uncovers a terrifying Neo Nazi cult intent on using the spear that supposedly penetrated the abdomen of Christ during the crucifixion to resurrect members of the third Reich and unleash a dark army on the world. An incredibly creepy, violent and action packer read from the master of horror.

Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
As much as I like Spielberg's film, for me the novel's many subplots and more interesting characters make it superior. After a slow and quite techinal orientated start,it really pics up once things get to the island.Less spectacular than the film but more thought provoking.
